Strengthening its beauty division, Dolce & Gabbana has released a new advertising campaign for its Dolce Matte Lipstick line. This marks the Italian brand’s first matte lipstick. In shades of red ranging from ‘Fire’ to the dark ‘Dolce Jealous’ shade, it is all about channeling Sicilian glamour no matter where you are. The campaign images were photographed by Mert & Marcus.

At 69-years-old, actress Helen Mirren stars in a commercial for L’Oreal Paris UK’s “Age Perfect” skincare line. Surpisingly, the advertisement uses a bit of humor with Mirren first being offered a bus seat by a young woman. Then, she shows off her stuff in a leather jacket with red lips and a black skirt. The famous tagline of “Because of worth it” gets changed to “So are we worth it?” as Mirren glances over at a younger looking man who is stretching. She then answers, “More than ever.”

All you have to do is enter on the site where the beauty brand wants you to make your own headline featuring 140 characters or less that are uniquely you. Sharing it on social media sites like Facebook, Tumblr and Twitter is encouraged, but you don’t need a lot of likes to win. MAC will pick six faces with a trip to NYC as the prize as well as a photo shoot and the chance to become the next face of MACnificent Me. Make sure to sign up by December 12th before it ends.

The DKNY brand is launching a new range of fragrances under its famous ‘Delicious’ line called ‘Delicious Delights’. Dutch model Marloes Horst is the face of the advertising campaign which features the blonde model holding an ice cream cone with two scoops in bright pastel colors much like the scents’ bottles. The fragrance range includes three scents—Fruity Rooty, Cool Swirl and Dreamsicle. Look out for DKNY’s ‘Delicious Delights’ in March.

Only a week after 65 year-old-model icon Twiggy was named a brand ambassador for L’Oreal Professionnel, the beauty brand has tapped actress Eva Green as an international spokesperson. “As an actress, hair is so important. You need a very good relationship with your hairdresser and together we create the hairstyles. My hairdresser uses, of course, the leader of hair products, L’Oréal Professionnel. I am very glad to be on board on this new adventure,” Green says about the new venture.

Italian designer Giambattista Valli is the latest designer to team up with MAC Cosmetics. Valli has designed a five color lipstick collection ranging from bright coral to dark berry, according to Vogue. Look out for the collaboration in summer 2015. “I made these for a woman with personality, a woman who lives her life and isn’t afraid to wear color and isn’t afraid to kiss!” Valli tells the publication.

bao bao wan & mac cosmetics to launch jewelry inspired makeup line
Chinese fine jewelry designer Bao Bao Wan is collaborating with Mac Cosmetics on a collaboration of gemstone inspired color products, reports WWD. Set to hit stores in March 2015, the collection will be available for four weeks in 33 countries and territories. “I’m very conservative with makeup color, and I’m very much about gold shades. I used my logic and my senses: I didn’t want any crazy colors in the collection, and I wanted it to be practical and to suit every skin tone,” Wan told the news site.
